JL Designs & Interiors LLC offers complete interior design services. Our expertise spans from designing and laying out the space (the space plan), working with architectural plans, assisting with the lighting and cabinetry, recommending finish materials, advocating between you and the contractors, and assisting you with furnishings and window treatments.

Jeanette Loretz, principal of JL Designs & Interiors LLC, comes to Interior Design with a diverse and varied background that serves her well in approaching projects from many avenues. Jeanette received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Welfare and then became a certified paralegal before starting her Interior Design career over 12 years ago.

Attaining an Interior Designer certificate with honors from Canada College, Jeanette is certified in Residential Design, Commercial Design and Kitchen and Bath. She was the Past President of the California Peninsula Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers and a member of the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association), a member of NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry), and is a Certified Interior Designer recognized by the State of California.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jeanette attended St. Francis High School in Mountain View - a school that she, her husband and three children all attended! She is a strong supporter of her community, and maintains active membership with St. Simon Church and the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce.

Clients often ask Jeanette about her design style. Is it Contemporary? Traditional? Transitional? French Country? Asian?

A good designer may have their favorite styles, but a trained Interior Design meets the needs and tastes of their individual clients. The most important skill a designer can bring to any project is an ability to listen. When an Interior Designer listens carefully to the preferences, how a space will function, and accentuate architectural features or attributes, then interiors will reflect a client's unique and lasting style.
